To ensure the same European quality standards for our teak production, Tribù has a subsidiary company in Indonesia, under European management, which employs 8 direct and 200 indirect employees. In Indonesia Tribù also has a joint-venture in a brand-new production site with 500 employees where aluminium frames and woven furniture (Canax®) are produced. Tribù considers ethics a very important value and therefore sees to it that the Indonesian employers work under good social conditions.Tribù’s head office is situated in Zutendaal, Belgium were 30 people are employed. Tribù is a head-to-tail company which means that we create the designs, the head, which we sell, the tail. The actual production is outsourced to industrial partners, mainly in Belgium, that are carefully selected. This way of working gives us two important advantages : we have the freedom to experiment with a wide spectrum of materials and for each type of material we can select specialists in their field. Indeed, our offer varies from stainless steel (316L or 304L) to powdercoated aluminium and fibre-reinforced polypropylene and from teak to weaving (Canax® with addition of natural hemp) and textilene (Batyline®). Tribù  is distributed worldwide in more than 50 countries through high-end dealers. The main markets are the Benelux, France, Germany, Italy and the United States, but you will also find an importer or agent in Australia, Canada, Japan, Singapore and South Africa (cfr Where to buy). Next to the retail market, Tribù is also a valid partner for the high-end project market.
